- The sale priced kitchen is one that is typically 10 by 10 feet. If you can't tell measurement, count your cabinets, that's usually a pretty good indicator, a small kitchen has 10-12 cabinets and usually doesn't contain a pantry. Our specialty is maximizing space. Lots of older homes have dead space corners in its kitchens, so we use Lazy-Susans and Wall Diagonal corners to best use your space, especially if you have a smaller kitchen.
2. What does a Shower include?
- A shower remodel is usually the removal of a fiberglass shower/tub combination (60" x 32") and replacing the area with a stand up shower with porcelain walls and travertine floor. We can also install a new tub (provided by you) and place porcelain walls. This all includes preparation of the inside of the walls, waterproofing, porcelain tile for the walls, travertine floor for the inside of the shower, a liner accent, a shampoo box embedded in the wall, and a bench option.
3. What payments do you accept? Do you offer financing?
- We accept checks or cash only. At this time we do not offer financing. However our projects are spread out in a way that you make four payments alleviating the payment process. Usually these are broken down in 10% down, 30% when demolition starts, 30% when materials are there, and 30% when your project is complete and you are 100% satisfied.
4. What is the difference between slabs and prefabricated granite?
- Slabs are large pieces of granite, they usually carry about 45-60 sq. ft. of granite or quartz. The advantage of a slab is that it is much more customizable than prefabricated because there's more to work with. There are a wide variety of options in terms of edging. There is also a much greater variety of style in slabs. Also, there are many less seam joints between stones. The biggest advantage of prefab over slabs is price.
5. What kind of documentation will I receive?
- A contract will be written, which you and your project manager will sign. Within it will contain all the project details, payment structure and a start/end date. You will also receive receipts for every payment you ever make.
6. How long will my project last?
- This really depends on the project you want to do. Usually a simple shower remodel takes about 2 weeks and a kitchen 3 weeks. It also depends on how much work is being performed and how many ongoing projects we have open.
